Jon Ellis – Property and Hospitality

Jon is a one of Australia’s leading property experts. He has advised many of Australia’s largest property developers and hospitality providers having developed and executed marketing strategies for some of Australia’s most significant developments. Jon has worked with brands such as Mirvac, Hilton Hotel Group, Cbus Property, SP Setia and Salvo Property Group.

In 2013, Jon launched Investorist which has transformed the way off the plan property is transacted, revolutionising a $50-billion-a-year, inefficient, industry. Today more than $25b in property is managed through Investorist and is a daily tool for the majority of the property industry. This provides Jon with a unique insight into what drives property values long term.

Kathryn Ellis – Commercial and Strategy

Kathryn is a lawyer, artist, property investor and mother. Kathryn Co-founded Investorist and has been pivotal in its growth from concept through to a multinational corporation. Kathryn has in-depth knowledge of the legal frameworks at play in the property industry and guides all commercial decisions at Ellis.

Prior to becoming a lawyer Kathryn was one of Australia’s leading dancers, representing Australia in Blackpool England, at the world’s premier dance event. She also has an art’s degree and is a talented visual artist.

Kathryn is pivotal in defining the strategy behind the Ellis business and is adept at balancing commercial realities with artistic flair to define offerings that are commercially superior whilst offering the luxury and glamour that consistently delights Ellis guests and residents.
